On July 10, 2018 the United Kingdom celebrated 100 years of the Royal Air Force (RAF) with a parade in London and 100 planes flying overhead. Instead of candles, that’s a plane for every year. From the pictures I saw online, it looked like a show-stopping celebration.
The Royal Air Force was formed on April 1, 1918 with the merging of the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service. The Woman’s Royal Air Force was also formed at this time.
