National Farmers Market Week is August 5-11, 2018

What is the best place to purchase juicy sweet fruit, crisp tasty vegetables, fresh herbs and flowers in a variety of colors? What is your favorite place to buy produce and plants for your house and garden? Local vendors provide these and other wares at your local Farmers Market.

National Farmers Market Week begins next week. I’m collecting a list of Farmers Market to share with you. I want to include your favorite Farmers Market. Please answer the following questions.

Happy 100th Birthday Royal Air Force!

On July 10, 2018 the United Kingdom celebrated 100 years of the Royal Air Force (RAF) with a parade in London and 100 planes flying overhead. Instead of candles, that’s a plane for every year. From the pictures I saw online, it looked like a show-stopping celebration.

The Royal Air Force was formed on April 1, 1918 with the merging of the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service. The Woman’s Royal Air Force was also formed at this time.

Here are a couple of photos of the Royal Air Force in World War II which I’ve collected for research for my World War II novel I’m working on writing. More photos are on my WWII- Royal Air Force board on myPinterest page, KathrynHughes-author.
